Terms Of Use
The service that repository.az.gov provides to you are subject to the following Terms of Use.
Acceptance of Terms:
By requesting an image from the repository, you agree to follow all repository.az.gov Terms of Use as well as terms and restrictions that may apply to individual images.
Style Guides:
Some images come with style guides, which provide detailed information on image use. By requesting the image with its accompanying style guide, you agree to follow directions within the provided document. It is your responsibility to contact the image owner if any of the guidelines are unclear.
State Use Limitation:
Images on repository.az.gov are only made available to Arizona State agencies and only for State business. To ensure that all image licensees are carefully followed, it is not permitted to share or in anyway disburse images requested from this site. Instead of sharing images, please share the URL of this website so the agency may make their own image request and image use can be properly tracked.
Per Project Use Limitation:
Images which are licensed to the State of Arizona on repository.az.gov are provided on a per project use. The image is only authorized for one project or campaign. Additional uses must be requested through to this site so they can be properly tracked to ensure all license agreements are met.
Member Account, Password, and Security:
Repository.az.gov requires you to open an account. You must login with an Active Directory user name and password. If you do not have one, please contact the ADOA Service Desk to request one be created for you (602) 364-4444. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify the ADOA Service Desk immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Account sharing is not permitted. You may not use anyone else’s account at any time.
No Unlawful or Prohibited Use:
As a condition of your use of this service, you will not use the service or images provided in any manner that could damage or embarrass the State of Arizona. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using repository.az.gov you will not:
- Publish, post, upload, distribute, or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information.
- Upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain images, photographs, or other material protected by intellectual property laws, including, by way of example, and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws (or by rights of privacy or publicity) unless the State of Arizona controls or owns the rights thereto or has received all necessary consent to do the same.
- Upload files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer or property of another.
- Falsify or delete copyright management information, such as author attributions, legal or other proper notices, or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of the martial that is contained in a file that is uploaded or received from this site.
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others.
